As a clinical social worker for over 25 years, I partner with clients to identify and tap into inner strengths and resources, become aware of cognitive and embodied patterns, and find opportunities for change and healing. I strive to offer a supportive, non-judgmental, compassionate environment in which a client and I may co-create a therapeutic alliance. I have worked with clients with a variety of challenges including but not limited to depression, anxiety, attentional issues, major life transitions, grief, and complex medical issues. Personally, and professionally, I am committed to creating an environment of respect for the race, color, ethnicity, religion, national origin, marital status, parental status, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, physical ability, and socioeconomic status of all persons. I strive to provide accessible, queer affirming and multiculturally sensitive services that celebrate the dignity, worth and value of all individuals. In my work with equines and other animals, I incorporate a compassion centered approach built on a foundation of animal welfare, well-being, consent and safety.
